We have decided to add yet another tour in order to cater to the casual rider who wants a backcountry beach experience. This DIY (Discover it Yourself) tour meanders over a seashell trail through the beautiful Gulf Islands National Seashore at Fort Pickens on the west end of Santa Rosa Island, just minutes from the heart of Pensacola Beach. It includes bridges that cross over natural canals with large turtles, it passes abandoned WWII bunkers, wanders through eagle territory, has access to remote Gulf of Mexico Beaches, and ends with a paved loop at the historic civil war era Fort Pickens.
